look at this. this is lördagsgodis by the ridiculously clever kelly walton. she made it especially for me back when we did a trade a few months ago. i've been sitting on it (no, not literally) while i search for a frame (perpetual problem of mine), but i haven't found one yet and i really just don't want to wait any longer to show it off to the internets. i love it so much. her work is full of thoughtful little details (necklaces! painted nails!) and clumsy painter that i am, i can't help but admire her tiny brush strokes.
i hope you will go and check out more of kelly's work. you will smile. in her etsy shop, she sells prints, postcard sets (wicked anabella is pictured below) and the best little comic book/zine ever about a group of strawberry-hunting, jam-making girls, cleverly titled, STRAUBS.
